"The Only Mom I Wanted Was You."

This blog has nothing at all to do with real estate. In fact, the central point of this blog is concerned with a far more important subject: Mother’s.
In observing Mother’s Day, I present a story I heard recently. I don’t know if this is a true story. If it isn’t a true story, it undoubtedly could be.
Several years ago, around Thanksgiving time, a five-year-old boy was separated from his mother in a large grocery store. Confused but unpanicked, the boy began to walk up and down the aisles calling out his mother's name: "Mavis... Mavis...Mavis”.
In short order, from the next aisle, the boy’s mother heard him calling for her and instructed him to stay where he was until she arrived in the aisle the boy was located in. This concerned Mother and her young son were quickly reunited, and all was well.
As they finished their shopping, the mother and her young son stood in line at the checkout. The mother tenderly corrected her young son saying, "Honey, you shouldn't call me 'Mavis.' After all, I'm 'Mom' to you." With wisdom much further than his years, the young boy immediately replied, "Yes, I know that Mommy. But this store is full of a lot of moms. The only mom I wanted was you."
The young boy was right. The world is full of moms. But our mom is unequaled by every measure.
Mother’s Day is the day when most of us take the time to honor those special women who have always had time for us. We pay tribute to those women who, by virtue of biology, circumstance or temperament, have loved us, shaped us, wished the best for us, and, with all selflessness, great joy and gladness, made every sacrifice necessary so that we might live up to our God-given potential. I hope you have or had a mom like that. I did.
May you enjoy a blessed Mother’s Day!
