About the Town of Duanesburg, New York​​​​​​​

The Town of Duanesburg, New York is located in the western part of Schenectady County with a population of over 6,200 people. 


The Village of Delanson is located within the Town of Duanesburg. 


The Town of Duangesburg is known for wooded hills and the serenity offered by views as far as southern Vermont, the Adirondack Mountains and the Catskill Mountains.


The Town of Duanesburg is educationally serviced by the Duanesburg Central School District which has one elementary school and one Junior and Senior high school.


One of the activities the town of Duanesburg is known for is skydiving.  There are many private airports located around town, and this lends the opportunity to skydive for those who pursue such adventures.


The Town of Duanesburg also presents an annual Memorial Day Parade as well as an annual Family History Day presented by the Duanesburg Historical Society.
