About the Town of Guilderland, New York​​​​​​​

The Town of Guilderland is a suburban town located within Albany County.  There are over 35,000 people who call Guilderland "home".  The town is primarily served by the Guilderland Central School District which has five elementary schools, one high school and one middle school.  Other portions of the town are served by other school districts which include the Voorheesville Central School District based in the adjacent Town of New Scotland, the Schalmont Central School District and the Mohonasen Central School District.


The Town of Guilderland has many hiking trails, pools, parks and recreational attractions throughout the town, including Tawasentha Park and Western Turnpike Golf Course.
