The "Peg Board Revolution"

I was scanning some articles on DIY home projects when I came upon this article which features home innovations from the 1950's. It's interesting to read and think about how far we've come when it comes to conveniences we expect and enjoy in our homes today.

I had to laugh because the first home "innovation" article I read talks about is "peg board". I just installed peg board in my basement to hang various items and tools which had previously taken up space on my basement workbench.

So, with some of the "innovations", "what is old is new again".
